Buyers Places Order

You can shop for food related products in your local area, from verified sellers.

Buyer Pays The Food Lovers Marketplace

Using a secure checkout, buyers pay the Marketplace for their order. The payment sits in an escrow account for safety.

Seller confirms order

The seller is notified of the order, confirms it, and begins preparing the requested items.

Delivery

The order is sent out/picked up, based on the customers and sellers chosen delivery method.

The Food Lovers Marketplace pays seller

Once the order status has been updated to 'completed' The Food Lovers Marketplace releases the funds to the seller.

Frequently Asked Questions

At the bottom of every product, you will be able to view the sellers storefront. Check reviews from others, visit the sellers social media pages or contact the seller directly. 

You have to be logged in and have purchased a product in order to leave a review. This can be done via the sellers page, under the review tab. 

Shipping, drop-off and pick up times vary per selller/per product. Check the sellers page on dispatch times, or send them a message directly. Contact the seller before making a purchase to check their availability.

Some sellers will have the ‘chat now’ feature next to their products. Please check their store opening hours for chat. Alternatively, you can send them a question through the support button on their storefront, by sending an enquiry. 

On the seller’s storefront, you can opt to ‘follow’ them. This will allow you to mark sellers you have an interest in. You’ll also receive notifications from sellers that you follow. 

You can filter search products by category in your local area, amend the radius as required. Alternatively, you can view the sellers locations on their storefront. 

All orders should sit in your customer dashboard under ‘orders’. Also check your inbox, especially your spam folders. If you still haven’t received confirmation after 24 hours of making a purchase, contact support or the seller. 

We accept credit card/debit card payments which are taken securely through PayPal Payment Gateway. You can also pay via PayPal. Please do not pay the seller directly or we won’t be able to assist you with a refund.

Visit ‘addresses’ from the left hand menu in your account dashboard and add shipping and billing details. 

If you haven’t received your order, contact the seller immediately. If you have troubles getting in touch with them, contact support. We will be able to process a refund for you if you do not receive your order. 

Contact the seller, they may be able to supply you with an additional item. Each seller has their own returns/refunds policy. Marketplace only mediates for orders that have not been delivered. 

Most certainly can. On your customer dashboard, select the option to purchase wholesale. Your request we be sent to admin for approval. We may require further details from you. Note* not all sellers offer wholesale, however you will be able to view this on individual product pages once approved.
